A new dongle that will immediately upgrade your Nintendo Switch to 4K.
The 4K Gamer Pro from PhotoFast is the device I’m talking about. Creators promise high performance with 3 upscaling levels of 4K and zero lag to improve your gaming experience.
All of that offers a 20% increase in sharpness, color, and depth of field compared to their previous device “4K Gamer+”

This sounds interesting and it isn’t the first device on the market with such functionality. The most known device was Marseille mClassic but many gamers claimed that it didn’t bring much improvement to Nintendo Switch, instead, it works fine with many retro consoles.
4K Gamer Pro claims to improve image quality and offers 4K with the use of AI for image processing to identify the focused object in the image and enhance its quality and sharpnes. Also, there will be no frame drops after the image is improved.
How the image is converted from 1080p to 4K?
With correlation compensation technology 4K Gamer Pro insert points, set the color value of existing pixels as the basis, assign color values to pixels in adjacent intervals, perform color operations in four vertical and horizontal dimensions, and insert pixels after the operation to convert the 1080p image quality Upscale to 4K.

This device isn’t just for the Switch but is designed to work for more than that. The creator claims that it also offers support for the PS4, Wii U, Apple TV, and Chromecast. So far nothing about the older console but hope to test that soon.

The device will launch on Kickstarter this April.
Is this the kind of device you’re looking to get? Or maybe you’re happy with classic 1080p? Personally, I’m looking to test it with Switch and a few older consoles like GameCube, Wii, and PS3.
