In just seven days on April 21, 2023, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will be released, offering a chance to revisit one of the most popular games for Game Boy Advance with enhanced tactical gameplay. It’s time to prepare yourself to lead your units to victory in this thrilling remake.

As you may already know, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a highly-anticipated remake of the classic Game Boy Advance titles Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2. The original games boasted beautiful pixel art graphics and engaging gameplay, and the remake promises to deliver the same experience with a stunning new 3D graphical style.

What we know about Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp
From many details shared earlier by Nintendo as well as the latest overview trailer, we now have a better understanding of the game menu, battle interface, and available game modes.
The game will feature two story campaigns, giving players the opportunity to experience all of the characters (COs) that were available in the original games. Get ready to reunite with beloved characters like Sami, Andy, Max, and many more!

Game Modes
Versus (Challenge other players or the CPU in local battles)
Local gameplay with up to three human or computer opponents on my Nintendo Switch system, or four systems if each player has their own copy of the game.
Online (Play online and battle your friends anywhere)
You can play with anyone in the online mode. Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required.
Design Room (Create and share your own custom maps)
Create your custom maps and share them online. So far we don’t have much information about how this feature works.
Campaign
Play the story from one of each Advance Wars games like Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2 Black Hole Rising.
War Room (Battle the CPU and save your score)
Select a map and have fun trying new tactics
Hachi’s Shop (Shop here with your hard-earned coins)
You can spend your coins and get some collectibles that you can revisit in the Gallery, for example, songs, battle maps
Gallery (Browse your very own Advance Wars collection)
Browse through your music, artworks, and cinema shorts that you got from Hachi’s Shop or unlocked through the game.
